My twin girls are beginning to discover boys. One daughter is much more social and outgoing, and the other is feeling slighted because 'whenever I like a boy, she likes the same boy.' How do I help my daughters enjoy this new stage without competing against each other?!?
I think the operative words are that your girls are just beginning to discover boys. At first, there will be very few "eligible likeables," and they will both be interested in the same person, but as they get older, they will become more diversified. You might suggest to the less outgoing twin that she not tell her sister who she likes and also encourage her that by the time they are old enough to really date, they may be interested in completely different types of people.
