Doesn't it always seem like life couldn't get any crazier? It just doesn't seem like we have time for alot of things. I know that you are supposed to prioritize but come on, eventually we would run out of clean clothes, dishes, etc. I really wish we had more time to get together with friends, family, etc.
Tomorrow, I am taking a trip to Philadelphia for work. I will be gone 5 days which is a long time to be away from the girls. I will really miss them but I know we will be very busy so it should keep my mind off from it. It gets hard the last few days and if my plane is late coming back, I would probably just break down and cry. I must admit though, I do like the full nights of sleep and going to eat in a restaurant where I don't have to shovel food as fast as I can before the girls determine they are done.
Halloween was great. The girls were 2 ladybugs. They went trick or treating with some cousins and some of our friend's kids. Most of the time they sat in the bike stroller checking out their candy. Of course, we have confiscated all of their candy for us :)
I used to not buy too many toys for the girls but now it seems like there is so much out there that they would like. I plan to order the Little People Nativity set before Thanksgiving so that we can have that set out before Christmas. Otherwise, I do not plan to get them much for Christmas. We already got them a Step 2 Storybook Cottage house for our basement. I figure it will help entertain them during the long winter.
The girls are getting another cold and so are we. It seems like our immune system is nonexistant. People have told me that after they are 2 that it gets better. The summer was soooooo nice with no sickness at all.
My husband and I are taking swing dancing lessons. My MIL stays over night on Thursday nights so she can watch them while we do that. We have a wedding coming up in February and we are going to try our new moves out then.
Anyway, not a very exciting entry but I thought I would get one in before my trip.
Take care,
Marianne
