This will have to be the fastest entry in the world. I'm not proofreading it either so I apologize for all the mistakes. DH thinks I'm working on our taxes down here (my computer's in the basement). I was working on them but as usual, realized I was missing about 3 major things in order to complete them plus the state portion isn't ready to download yet. My parents already got their refund back - can you believe it? I'm hoping for a refund so I can tuck it away for our house taxes next year.
Anyway, the girls are almost 2! I can't believe it. The second year has been so much better than the first. Life has just completely changed. Last winter was so hard with alot of sickness - we were just trying to survive. This winter, the girls have not had so much and they seem to deal with it better. Elena got the nasty flu that was going around but Cassidy didn't get it as bad. She seems to have a better immune system - I always wonder if that is because she was the first one out and didn't need any breathing help.
Work is absolutely crazy. I just switched jobs at my company and I now am so busy. I actually got so stressed that I cried in front of my boss. It's a long story and I won't go into it but things have got to get better or he needs to get me some help.
I can't wait until summer. It has been so cold here in Wisconsin and we now have some snow so I don't really take the girls out. Plus, they don't like to sit in the stroller so I just can't safely control them by myself. They are talking tons and are doing very age appropriate things. My only concern is that Cassidy is so short. I'm not the tallest person but she is so small. Anyway, I always need something to worry about.
And yes, I keep thinking about another baby. DH and I only planned on having two but when you have twins, things are different. I just don't know if I can only go through everything just once. I mean, I look ahead, and realize that once they graduate from High School, they will be gone all at once. Sniff, sniff. Of course, after a few years with two teenage girls, I might be ready for them to leave. I just can't seem to see that we can afford another one anyway so it won't be happening anytime soon. I just like to think about it :)
Gotta go. I promised DH that he can watch the Superbowl in semi-peace and I need to switch the laundry.
Happy February!!!
