Once again it is very windy here in the Chicago area. Yesterday the boys were able to go out and play at school and today it is so cold and windy they are stuck inside again. They are really getting cabin fever, especially since it was in the 60's a few weekends ago and they could play outside with no coats on.
Trevor's arm is healing well. He graduated from the full arm cast to the forearm cast 2 weeks ago and on the 15th may have the cast removed for good.
We are trying to get Trevor to stop sucking his thumb. Too bad he didn't break the left arm and then he wouldn't have been able to suck the thumb. We put bandaids on for him but he takes them off as soon as we turn our heads. I think I will try adhesive tape since that is pretty sticky and hard to get off.
Nathan is doing well too. He has gotten over the screaming and crying when I leave him at school which makes it much easier for me to leave. To help introduce the boys to the other kids at school I would walk them to the play area, ask names and point out things on the other kids shirts like Power Ranges, etc. Now each day when I walk in the kids run over to show me there shirts and shoes. When I leave I have to give about half the kids hugs as well.
In April I am flying to Utah to visit my parents with the boys. They travel back and forth from Illinois to Utah twice a year. My husband can't go because of work so it will be interesting to see how I manage with the boys by myself. It is crazy travelling with them on planes with both adults so it should be fun by myself. The good thing is there won't be much luggage since we can wash clothes out there and since my parents bought them a few outfits they saw on sale out in Utah.
Think Spring.
