By Terri Bose

Pages:  1  2

You'll Need:
Gold tinsel pipe cleaners
Translucent green and red pony beads

What the Kids Do:
String green and red translucent pony beads onto a pipe cleaner.

What You Do:
Bend the pipe cleaners into shapes to look like wreaths, trees or fish. Twist the ends together and make a loop for hanging.

Contact Paper Ornam

You'll Need:
Clear contact paper
Confetti
Glitter
Scissors
Hole punch
Gold cord
Drinking glass to trace around
Permanent marker
Cellophane tape

What You Do:
Cut two 4-inch squares of clear contact paper. Peel the backing off one piece. Lay it sticky side up on your work surface. Tape into place along the edges.

What the Kids Do:
Place or sprinkle a little confetti or glitter onto the contact paper.

What You Do:
Peel the backing off the other piece of contact paper. Place it sticky side down over the piece the child has decorated. Draw a circle on the contact paper by tracing around a drinking glass. Cut out the circle. Punch a hole. Make a loop out of gold cord for hanging.

Even Babies Can Join In!

Are your kids too young for these ideas? Crayola makes a lightweight clay called Model Magic. Press your baby's hand or foot into a pancake of clay. Make a hole with a drinking straw and let dry. Whatever the project, make sure to write the child's age, name and the year so generations to come can enjoy them as much as you do.
