Crayola Crayon Costume

You will use "wonder under" to attach the black strip to the bottom of the hat, and to attach the squiggle line on top of the black strip. Follow the instructions on the package of wonder under. You will need an iron, ironing board and a damp cloth. Once you've attached everything, the tip of the crayon is done!

Crayola Label:
The label goes around your child's trunk. Measure your child's trunk from under the arms to just below the belt line. Next, measure your child's waist. Add 2 inches to this last measurement. Cut a piece of colored fabric using these measurements (should be a square or rectangle). Wrap the fabric around your child while he or she is wearing the sweatshirt, making sure it will fit snugly. Attach the Velcro to the edges that will meet in the back of your child's body when you wrap this material around him or her. Attach the Velcro by sewing it on, or use the self-adhesive type. Next, draw a large oval on a piece of paper (you will probably need to use newspaper to get the large oval to fit). The oval should be as long as the measurement of your child's trunk (from under the arms to the belt line). Lay this paper down on the black fabric and cut out the oval. Use wonder under to attach it to the colored fabric, directly in the center of the fabric, so the oval is vertical. (See photo).
