Thanksgiving Crafts for Kids

It's turkey time, and we have some fun, easy-to-make crafts that the whole family will enjoy. These projects make great fall gifts for grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends or teachers. (Reminder: Small children require supervision with all crafts.)
Corny Name MarkersYou'll need:
- Yellow and green construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Popcorn kernels
- Popped popcorn
Here's what you do:
1. Draw an ear of corn on the yellow construction paper and cut it out with the scissors. You can make it as big or as little as you want.
2. Draw and cut out some leaves for the outsides of the ear of corn. Glue these leaves onto the back of the ear of corn, but make sure you can see them.
3. Make sure the popcorn is cooled completely. Glue the popped corn and the unpopped corn to the yellow ear.
4. After it is dry you can use it to decorate your home for Thanksgiving. Make several and use them as name markers for the Thanksgiving table. For a personal touch, write everyone's names on separate strips of paper and glue them to the front of the corn marker.
You'll need:
- Paper towel tube
- White construction paper
- Markers
- Glue and scissors
- Stapler
Here's what you do:
1. Trace an adult hand onto the white construction paper and cut it out. Color it with several different color markers. These will be the turkey's feathers, so make sure to color them lots of different colors.
